WELCOME TO THE CLIPPER HOUSE INN

We are so happy to share a little piece of our life with you!

Being local Houstonions and Texans, our family loves all things water related, which is why we found ourselves living in and loving Kemah, Texas. Imagine our excitement when we had the opportunity to purchase the Clipper in November 2020...yes, we bought a bed and breakfast during a pandemic! The enchanting courtyard, historical presence, charming shops, and quaint cottages embrace all that we love about the city we live in. We simply could not pass up the chance to play a larger role in bringing our community to life.  So, we jumped in head first and set sail making the Clipper our own.

You’ll often find all six of us boating around Clear Lake, strolling the Boardwalk, or grabbing oysters at a local dive. We are also big-time travelers, and absolutely love exploring Texas; as well as many other places outside of our great state. We love to learn about and embrace what new places have to offer. We find that some of our most cherished family memories are made while traveling. We are so excited to share our love for travel through the Clipper as you sail away with us for a while!

Nestled in the heart of Kemah, just minutes from the Boardwalk, is where you’ll find the Clipper House Inn; one of Kemah’s oldest Bed and Breakfasts! It is known for its tranquil gardens, romantic cottages, and warm, inviting atmosphere. With a beautiful courtyard filled with lush greenery situated in the center, the Clipper House is sure to provide you the perfect getaway! The quaint, 1930’s cottages feature plush beds enveloped in luxurious linens, as well as pristine bathrooms, and cozy sitting areas-all the perfect combination for your next great escape. Best part of it all is that Jen makes sure everyones stay is customized; you can expect her to reach out ahead of time to find out what some of your “favorites” are to make sure your experience is super personal!

Not only can you getaway for a few days (or more!) at the Clipper, but it is also the perfect venue for your next special event. We host events such as: weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, graduation parties, vendor markets, company get-togethers, and more!
