Vineyards

March - October

The Clipper House features several demonstration vineyards planted for Clear Creek Winery. Bud break is usually in March with fruit emerging in May and harvest in late July. The vines are in their 4th leaf and will be going into Clear Creek Wines in 2015.

Flower Gardens

March - November

We grow over thirty different types of flowers on the property from roses to azaleas to seven different types of lilies. Beginning in March and running through late November something is always in bloom. We encourage our guests to take as many pictures of the plants and flowers as you want but please don't pick them.

Aquatic Gardens

Year Round

This year we added an aquatic garden full of edible plants to be featured by our restaurant eculent. We have cattails and lotus plants, watercress and water celery growing year round. You will probably see Claire or Michael picking the plants to be used in that night's dinner service.
